In spite of the fact that there are many ways to tie a baby shawl, we only use one method. One that we think is the easiest so that our Bära-Barn Shawl is simple and easy to use.
The neat thing about this simple way of tying the shawl is that you can leave the shawl knotted and just slip into it when needed. It is very easy to lift the child in and out of it, which means that the shawl is really used and get the relief and closeness to the child that one needs.
For those of us that have not grown up with the tradition of carrying children in shawls it maybe needs a little getting used to, but it really is not harder to tie the shawl than it is to tie shoelaces.
