Advices for everyone regardless of the age of the child

If you breastfeed
Make sure that the knot is not on your breast in order to avoid plugged milk ducts.

How to remove a child that is lying down
If the child has fallen asleep in the shawl and you want to lie him/her down, bend forward, put the child where you want him/her. Then slip out of the shawl. The child will remain in the shawl and can have it as a small blanket.
Another way to remove the child is to lift it up, out of the shawl.

How to remove a child that is sitting up
When you remove the child from the shawl, just flex or bend down until the child reaches a flat, steady surface. Pull the shawl over the child’s head.
If the child doesn’t weigh too much you can lift him/her out of the shawl instead.
